Concept and Design
The
Wound Healing Research Unit design and deliver a variety of courses and training packages to
meet the needs of health professionals involved in wound care.
The educational activities of the Unit have ranged from organisation of national and international conferences to
local study days and short courses for the pharmaceutical industry. Skills Training/Accredited Education
The WHRU is able to
provide skills training and accredited education at basic and advanced levels
depending on the needs, ability and background of the individual. Teaching is
provided by the wide variety of professionals working within the WHRU all of
whom have a particular speciality and expertise.
The WHRU can also
provide a unique opportunity to observe the clinical experiences of the patients
visiting our facility.
